Ghosts, Vampires, and Goblins O’My!! It is that time of year again and this year we are doing it EVEN BIGGER! It is time for the YMCA Spooky Sports Halloween Party presented by Kishwaukee Community Hospital, Convocation Center, NIU Huskie Athletics and Media sponsor B95-FM.  Together the YMCA and Sponsors plan to bring the community the BIGGEST Halloween party in DeKalb County. 

The YMCA Spooky Sports Halloween Party will be held at the NIU Convocation Center on Friday, October 28th from 4:30 – 8:00pm. Tickets for the Halloween Party are $1.00 per person (children ages 2 and under are free) and must be purchased in advance at the YMCA. Tickets go on sale at the YMCA Saturday, October 8 when the Y opens at 6 a.m., and will be available for purchase whenever the YMCA is open.  A limited number of tickets will be available at the Convocation Center the night of the party.

This year, trick-or-treaters will have the opportunity to play games and get autographs from their favorite NIU Athletes.  Participants will also enjoy dozens of games, walk through the Spooky Sports Haunted House and show their bravery in a game of Fear Factor. Arts and Crafts will be available for younger party-goers.  The popular Magician, Jim Grainger, will also be back to win over the audience with impressive illusions and tricks.

New to the Spooky Sports Halloween party is the Spooky Fun Bounce Room.  The Victory E Court will be transformed into a bounce room with several different bounce house adventures. 

The Spooky Sports Halloween Party is only $1.00, safe and indoors. Please note that children under 13 should attend with a parent.  Join the fun at the NIU Convocation Center on Friday, October 28th between 4:30 - 8:00 pm for the BIGGEST Halloween Party in DeKalb County.
